Doc says don't ride for a few more months till the holes fill in where the screws were taken out....
My leg is strong enough to do some light riding... I was messin around with circle k's and stick b's on my brothers bike yesterday... I feel I could start to get back into the swing of things... but, if i fell on my knee... it would shatter, and id be lookin at bein out for another year, if not for good.... My legs not 100% yet with strength, and I still stumble a bit trying to run...
So, should i just throw on a kneepad, and ride anyway just to help get my leg up to strength faster?
or
should i stick with my physical therapy routine, and not ride till the doc says its ok? _________________ www.bikeflat.com

Well, I said f**k it...
Im gonna go meet up with pitdog504 today and ride a bit... nothing too extreme, just a bit of my own personal physical therapy...
Most certainly no tricks that require you to be nimble as a cat to bail out of.... just simple stuff... switch handed steams, karl kruisers, circle k's, lard yards... nothing cross footed yet.... gonna have to build back up to that...

well, it went better than I thought it would.... I was able to ride in and out of a lot of tricks... inside junk yard glide to no handed inside junk yard glide, pivot out... hitch hikers.... cliff hangers.... circle k's... switch foot lard yards... switch foot dump trucks.... I still got a lot of my tricks, but my legs weakness kept me from really pushing it...
i probly should have stretched like you said... but i didn't cause i was just too antsy to ride... im payin for it now though... lol... my leg muscles are still burnin from that session...
its lookin like im gonna have to keep the riding to a 2 hour a week max till i get the clearance from the doc...
a few times stepping out of cliff hangers it almost felt like i was over extending my knee.... so I know i got a ways to go...
I'll most certainly remember to stretch next time though.... _________________ www.bikeflat.com
