"Straight Edge" sXe

So i'm thinking about going straight edge

For people who don't know what it is....bascially it's a way of life thay you don't drink, smoke, take any forms of drugs etc, it makes you gain control and helps figure out what's important and how to fulfil yourself because your in control...google it or whatever if you wanna know more

but for the people who do know what it is, what are your thoughts? and is anyone here "straight edge"?

Well, I think it's good for your health and all.
And I'm a really clean person, as far as drugs of any sort go. [[i didn't used to be!]]

But i'm not going to have a strong opinion for or against it.

just, against HARDCORE drugs

it's to do with not taking ANYTHING though

like alcohol, fags, any drugs..even goes as far as paracetamol and any other form of medication/drugs

which is fine for me because i'm not on anything anyway =/

i don't drink(except small amounts at parties but i don't get wasted. ever)
i don't smoke, or do drugs
but as far as medication like paracetemol goes, i'd rather still be able to take that when i'm ill lol

which is gonna prove hard coz i lvoe smoking

but tbh it's gonna do me the world of good

and I tend to get trashed every weekend and suffer really bad hangovers and being drunk is losing it's fun

i think i can hack it

it's worth a shot anyway

People make fun of me at school for it.
And don't think I can pull it off my whole life.
But I know I can o3o.
Only because my grandpa drinks. And has Dementia and get's really mad. My uncle committed suicide due to it + other reason that I will not say.
My mother and father drink and I don't like it when they do.

And so does everyone else at my school.
And I just don't like it.

Personally I don't agree with it.
Only in so much as a lot of teenagers use it to look cool.
Although I'm not saying anyone here does.
Also I just think that, smoking is bad, getting wasted is bad [if you do it all the time], and hardcore drugs are bad. But I think Straight edge is a little extreme.

Just my opinion.

My school frowns upon straight edge people.
Their all "Oh you don't know how to have fun." and crap :/
So I'm constantly getting picked on.
I just don't care xD.
Trust me theirs only one more person that I know of in my school that is straight edge :/.
I haven't spoken to anyone else that is straight edge. Though I'm sure theirs probably a good ten of us that promise to be straight edge though out our lives.

If it's done for like, health, or just personal choice there's nothing wrong with it.

How do teenagers use it too look cool?

I know 1 sXe person =/ and even then i use the term sXe with them very lightly

tbh being sXe would probs be voted the most uncoolest thing to be =/

and drinking can be fun if your with the right people, in the right place, having fun...your more chilled and whatever and up for having fun

well my friends and I are/were anyway XD

others are different
