I guess you could call me straightedge. I mean, I don't consider myself it but I guess I am. I don't drink or do drugs or smoke for personal reasons.
I do take prescribed meds though when I'm sick.
It's not hard really.
But that's just my opinion i guess. |

you are not doing drugs
granted caffeine is sometimes considered a drug it can not harm you in any way and if you want to claim edge than you are edge in my book because I drink pop and that has caffeine and chocolate is caffeine so who ever told you that needs to be shot in the face with heroine
okay that was a little harsh but you get it. |

Okay, im kind of young so i may not know what im talking about, but i plan to never drink. or do drugs. or smoke.
It's easy to say why.
When i was 1, my aunt was killed by a drunk driver. That day, she had sent me a birthday present (it was about 2 weeks before i turned 2) for some reason, even though i never really knew her, this has a huge impact on me. I remember crying on the 10th anniversary of her death and promising myself never to waste my money on alcohol or drugs. My dad smokes and drinks. My mom drinks. I hate the smell of it( the alcohol and the smoke). I hate it. And drugs.. just make no sense to me.

i have no idea how old you are but i thought the same thing at least about alcohol when i was younger. i thought i would never or at least not until i turned 21 but then one day i went to a party with my friends and my brother and he acted like it wasnt a big deal so i drank (not a lot i didnt get drunk or anything) but my views totally changed.
its probably different since you've had such an experience though
but your views and opinions on life do change though as you get older.
p.s. i havent had a drink in a very long
but do perscription drugs count?
i have to take one everday for the rest of my life so i didnt know if i could consider myself a straightedge....

lol..I've seriously never heard of the edge kids not taking medicines. it's totally ridiculous.
