Matthew. This photo was taken right after you told me that you thought my photography was amazing. Your exact words were 'phenominal', actually. But my photography--and half my life--would be nothing if it wasn't for the inspiration behind it all... which is Madina Lake. Which is you. You and your amazing stories, and your kindness, and your philosophies. And now you're a hero on top of it all. I can't believe what has happened to you, and that such cruelty can be inflicted upon a person with such a genuinely kind soul. My life has literally been influenced in so many ways by you and your band, and I know that it has affected hundreds and thousands of other people too. You only have to look on twitter, and tumblr, and all sorts of other places to see people from other bands praying for you or sending you good vibes. I hope you wake up, and you read these words and realise how much you are loved all over the world. Because you are loved. I know you're probably stumbling upon Enlightenment in the Attics of your Mind right now, but please don't stay there too long. There are so many people back here who want you to get better. Your brother, your bandmates.. me... the rest of the River People Community. I'm not a religious person, so I can't pray for you- but I do believe in the power of thought and that when a large group of people are sending the same positive thoughts to one thing, it can happen. And we're all thinking of you. You will be ok.
