When I heard the news yesterday, it was the same day that 13 years ago my mother passed away. So emotions piled on and I began to lose hope, I questioned my beliefs, I questioned humanity, and I broke down.

But now, after seeing the outpouring of support and love for you, I know that there is still hope, still something to believe in, and still good in this world.

You have always been an inspiration, someone to look up to, someone to trust, and someone to believe in. So your actions are nothing less of inspiring and heroic. You are an amazing soul, Matthew.

I have spent all day and all night praying for your recovery. I am so happy to see that you are making progress. Your friends and your family are here for you. Always. Please continue to fight. Do not surrender to the evils that plague our world. Good always prevails. Good always outshines. You will be living proof of that. Get well quickly. The River Creepers are looking forward to seeing you and giving you big hugs!
