Dear Matthew

I've never met you, spoken to you, never even been in the same country as you, but nonetheless through the music, story and community that you have helped to create I feel as if I do know you, and when someone hurts you it's as if someone's hurt my family. I was so shocked and upset to hear about your attack, I'll admit it scared me more than a little. I haven't stopped thinking about you ever since. Somehow I always knew that you would pull through alright and when I read that you had woken and were speaking, there was a little voice in my head that said "I told you so!"

You're a legend, Matthew. Too few people would care enough to step in and help out a stranger in need as you did; and you of all people do not deserve to suffer as you are in return for your generousity. Know that I, like all your Creepers, have you in my thoughts and in my heart, now and through every step of the recovery process. Get well soon! <3
