And I agree with Amanda, I'd rather not see their faces but at least being able to chat with them ... The problem with Stickam is that there are way too many people and that's why it's jumpy for a lot of people I guess.

i've personally found the ustream chat to be best so far. I hate stickam it just can't cope with the demand it was also jumpy for me last night =( and i got kicked out TWICE!!!!! bad times... i'm willing to sacrifice seeing them/hearing them to be able to actually talk to them.

I agree with everyone that ustream is better than stickam. I also found it abit jumpy too.

the actual chat function was more steady i found on ustream and the guys found it easier to answer things

I like ustream best, personally. Even though I got kicked like a lot of other people. I know the video doesn't work but the sound quality is perfect and the chat works a lot better.
Plus on Stickam I find people on webcam at the side really annoying aha.

stickam kicked me twice so stickam does it too. plus i find the chat moves way too fast whereas ustream doesn't the only other option is using the forum chat and having neither vision nor sound.

i know some people think we should stay with stickam but it got to the point last chat i just despaired so much about how it was jumping/lagging that i was about to give up (i was first in before it kicked me first time and sound was perfect vision was perfect chat was perfect showing it was stickam unable to cope not my computer!!! it proceeded to kick me out after everyone started joining)

I agree and I prefer Ustream too. The chat they did in 2010 on Ustream was the best of the bests! And for the July chat on Ustream, even if there was no video on Ustream, having only the sound was great! It was better than on the last 2 chats on Stickham. For me it was quite impossible to understand a whole sentence, and the video was quite bad. So yep, I think Ustream is the best!

unfortunately i don't think they'll change from stickam now they have that working =/ the only way i can see stickam working is with less people... not happening =/ so for us who suffer we'll have to deal

Mine was super-jumpy too and I could barely make out a sentence. :-/ I was trying to close some browser tabs and other stuff like msn wondering if it'd make it better but it didn't. I don't think I really heard anything from the chat - even though I was there for most of it (apart from missing the beginning).
