Matthew,
You are truly an inspiration to us all. Not many people would have done what you did for fear of what could happen. Although I am terribly upset that you have had to go through this, I know it is just going to make you an even stronger person in the end. You, as well as the other guys, have already been through so much in your lifetime that nothing can bring you down. You are honestly one of the best human beings I have ever had the pleasure of meeting, and I just pray that you don't let this get to you. And I pray that you realize you are better than the monster that did this to you, and that you don't have to get retaliation in any form. The love and support from all us River Creeps should be all the proof he needs that there's not a single person on his side at this point.
I am praying for you always, Matthew. You didn't deserve this for any reason, nor does anybody else. I am just so happy and impressed and relieved that there actually are real-life heroes such as yourself out there.
I just want to thank you for being who you are and always standing up for what you believe in. You truly are a phenomenal man and I just know this'll make you even stronger. Just remember to keep your held held high.

I also need to thank you once again for this community you have created. It's sad that it took a tragedy like this to remind me of all the wonderful, beautiful people you have brought into my life. You truly have given us a safe environment where we just have a thousand pounds of support pouring down on us all the time. I love you and your band immensely for that reason alone. Thank you so much for giving us all something beautiful to be a part of and something healthy and promising to believe in.
