When I heard what happened to you it was as if the world stopped. It didn't really sink in until hours after I found out though. I thought, "No. Not Matthew. Not my favourite guy in the world. Not the guy I met who was always smiling and laughing. He's too good to have this happen to him." I was heartbroken. The world is a rotten place, Matthew, but you're like a light of hope. What you did was so brave and shows how much of an absolute amazing, incredible, compassionate, good person you are. I read this morning that you're conscious again and I am so relieved that you're going to be okay. My thoughts will still be with you and your friends and family as you're recovering. Take as much time as you need. We'll always be waiting for you I love you and I can't wait to see your smiling face next time you come to Australia. Endless x's and o's! <3 Love from Teenah
