Hey Matthew... it's hard for me to find words for what happened. At first I tried to ignore it, but after seeing the news it couldn't ignore it any longer.

What you did was great, it was more than many people could ever do in their lives. You really didn't deserve these wounds, but every single scar will remind me and anyone else of what you did, what was truly great. You probably saved a life, you made yourself my ideal. There's nothing anyone could do to honor this but .. I play bass in a band and am gonna convince the other ones to play songs by Madina Lake in future, starting with "Here I Stand", I know it's nothing that great but the only thing I can do to express my feelings for you (well, I don't love you but you really found a place in my heart for your behaviour)

As everybody, I hope you get well soon and will play bass again. I would love to see you live again in Berlin, I will have patience And you should also reconvert to the person you were before, the bright, entertaining guy I liked.
