Hi,
I have been out of the scene for a while....no update since 0.141....what's the reason ?

Basically, the core changes being implemented by the MAME devs are giving nothing but headaches to all those who maintain MAME GUI builds. Mamesick just doesn't have the time to sit down and sift through the nightmare the MAME devs have created with their drive to changing the MAME cores to C. Plus, he's not the only MAME GUI dev to throw in the towel because of this. MAMEUI looks as though it could be heading the same way.

Mamesick has supplied a quality GUI build of MAME over the years, and 0.141 was his swansong.

True. Also, new stable releases of MAME are not really stable. Lot of bugs surfaced on every full release. I'm thinking of releasing 0.144 or 0.145 in the next months, but this will require a huge amount of coding that I'm not in the mood to do now.

Actually, I have a working MAMEUIFX 0.142 on my PC. There are a tons of GUI fixes against the official source code plus the usual bunch of drivers fixes to make some games more "playable"...
Don't hold your breath, it's my private build and it will be not released. My plans are to try to update to 0.144 when it will be out and see if it will be the case to release a FX 0.144 to the public.
