u only use 1gb memory? that seems very low for modern computing/os etc


I have a cab for vertical games, and this is the computer inside. My computer run Raiden IV (taito type x) smoothly. But can't run a simple mame game like blade storm. a_damnit

perhaps for now you may have to consider running two versions of mame in your cab. eg latest mameuifx, and the .128 version for when u want to play storm blade

Install linux, compile mame, compile qmc2, play.

1GB of RAM is very very low. 3 GB is the minimum nowadays. 4GB or more with an 64bit OS are recommended.

Stay with mame 0.128 for now
