Throttle
Bitmap Prescaling
Wait For Vertical Sync
Refresh Speed
Enable HLSL
Switch Resolutions to fit
Synchronize audio with Emulation Speed (At your own risk)
Enable Stedykey support
Multi - threaded Rendering
Coin Lockout
I could not find a guide anywhere to tell me what all this is. |

Throttle: Switching this on stops your CPU from blowing itself to hell by trying to run games at 1000% speed. Switch it off before running Pac-Man to see the yellow guy hit Mach 3
Refresh Speed: Either runs games fixed at your monitors native refresh speed (usually 60Hz), or tries to match the games original arcade speed.
Wait for vertical synch: This helps to stop screen-tearing ... i think its to do with frame refresh timing or something?
Switch resolutions to fit: Only usually good for turning your on-screen images into a blocky mess of pixels ... the kind that make an Atari 2600 look good. |

Check the help file shipped with the emulator. Most, if not all, of those settings are described in there.
