Covered Ilkeston FC v Sheffield FC on Monday night and the visitors included Dan Whatsize, Matt Varley, Ben Turner and James Knowles in their squad.

A couple of ex Matlock players played against Premier League opposition in the FA Cup on Saturday:

Aiden Flint played in Swindon giant killing of Wigan on Saturday and was pictured on the backpage of the Sunday Mirror celebrating with the winning goalscorer. Di Canio is the Manager at Swindon. Swindon now have Forest or Lecester in the next round

Matt Taylor played in Charltons 4-0 defeat away against Fulham

Saw Tills play for Dronfield at Ilkeston on Tuesday night. Obviously not as mobile as he once was but can still pick a pass or two.

Also, Cameron Fearon has just signed for Eastwood.
