glad to hear refs dont get better - thought they just sent all the crap ones to us!!!

Yup thoroughly entertaining game and interesting to see the difference in class of the teams compared to our league.

Worksop were a good workman like side who take some beating and Northwich had some real quality, but gave 100% all through which i guess has to be credit to Steve Burr.

They have now notched up 13 wins on the bounce, and at the mo look certain to go back into the conference.

Must also mention the ref who was as bad as the crap we get. They have also discussed the bizarre incident on their forum and are equally as puzzled!!

Thought I would post some comments about last night�s game that me and Gra went to. I�m sure we will hear from Gra too.

The game finished up Worksop 1 � 2 Northwich V and was a very entertaining game from start to finish, with some nice football played (well by Northwich anyway). One thing of real note was the pace of the game and how players were constantly battling to keep tight and win the ball back.

Worksop took the lead after 26mins. Other than the first 10 mins it pretty much was all Northwich and they didn�t deserve to be behind. Northwich did however get back on level terms about 10mins or so before the break. The goal its self was really well taken, with some brilliant football leading up to the finish.

Northwich�s winner came mid way through the second half and wasn�t unexpected.

One thing to note, the officials are no better in that league than ours. We were having a good laugh when the following happened: -

In the first half the Ref asked Worksop�s number six to go of �cos of blood on his shirt, he did. He didn�t let the game start again for a while and then decided it was taking to long so let Northwich get on with the free kick. It was taken, next think the bloke is running back on (with number 14 shirt on) firstly without being told but then stopping the play again. The ref hadn�t got a clue what to do, sent him back off the field again and let him back on straight away! Very strange!

�8 entrance to get in and I got a programme which was �2 (but very good) and all in all had a good night. Good to see at least 100 or so if not more from Northwich, who had a good sing song just like we like to (including a drum).
