Any info please on upcoming events? Half heared an announcement at last weeks game re wam bam band,if so when how much etc.will social club section of website be updated soon? many thanks Rich

Rich, yes the Wam Bam Band are visting the Club for a gig on Saturday 18th February 2012. The Wam Bam Band are a very popular local band from Wirksworth, who only play a few gigs a year, so we are very lucky to have them performing at the Club. The band play rythmn and blues, rock and soul, for more information please see the following link http://thewambamband.110mb.com/HTML/tunes.html. This event is a ticket only event, tickets are on sale priced £8 for Social Club members and £10 for non-members. Tickets are now on sale at behind the bar at the Social Club, the football Club Shop and from the Matlock Design and Print shop on Steep Turnpike, or any Committee Member.

General Knowledge Quiz on Friday 10th February, again run by Gladiators FC. The first quiz night proved to be a huge success so this should be another good night. Same format as before with Pie and Peas at £3.00.

Thanks for info.Been to see wam bam a few times and must say they are a very entertaining band,unfortunately on this occasion the event clashes with a family do so cannot make it but I would encourage others to go to what I am sure will be a great night which will help to raise money for the club.

The Quiz night on the 10th Feb

Is not only a good laugh but FREE AS WELL. Last time very light hearted with stop prizes as well. Finally for a small charge Pukka Pie and Peas
