Tomorrow night against Armthorpe kick off 7 30pm
31/01/12 Rainworth kick off 7 30pm
Both matches are AWAY |

Would love to have a home friendly against Rowsley 86 one of these days.You could charge £2 admission and you'd probably get a crowd of 400 +. gate reciepts could be split between the two clubs and we'd make a killing on the bar.
Would be nice to give them a good thrashing as a lot of people seem to think that Matlock aren't much better than clubs like Rowsley. If we didn't beat them though or struggled to beat them it might be a bit embarressing.
I think Rowsley are the equivilant of five leagues below Matlock but are one of the best teams in their league and have many players who could play at a higher level. They would certainly be up for it! |

Absolutly 100% agree, Matlock take advantage of playing teams from a higher level aka Derby, Bradford and Chesterfiled.....so why not return the favour at clubs in a lower division aka Rowsley or Wirksworth Town.... as said gates would be high and you never know it might just give the chance for local players to shine!!!!!
Heanor Town have got three ex Gladiators Nathen Benger, Gary Webster and Adam Kay......
