I've been asked to repost this information about the Harewood event by Jim Potts.

Hi All
All is now in place for this 6th annual Harewood House Kite Festival.A full two day event with commentary by Dave Holt.
As usual I have arranged free camping adjacent to the arena and free admittance to the attractions at Harewood providing you are attending to fly kites and add to the show.To take advantage of this you will have to produce a current valid kite club membership card (which proves you are insured) at the pay booth when you arrive.
Camping is available from 10am Friday to 12noon Monday and there is the usual water and toilet block available 24/7.Usual kite traders will be in attendance.
This year on Saturday evening Harewood House have asked us to fly any kites with lights from 9pm infront of the house to mark the national museums at night event,wind and weather permitting.
Also on Saturday night Phil Hewitt and team AKA 'The Lincoln Loonies' are putting on a jawdropping Magic Show,further details will be announced on the Saturday.
This festival is open to all insured kite flyers,if it is you first visit,the location can be found at www.harewood.org .Once you pass through the pay booth whether you are a day visitor or camper,follow the road passing the house on your left,then bear right into the car park.Immediately after the toilet block on your right,turn right and drive up the hill to the top where you will see us gathered.
