Hey guys and gals. Living in Moose Jaw and have always enjoyed the taste of BBQ, but only recently have had real BBQ.

Currently running an Original Bradley 4 rack that got me started and just picked up a Green Mountain Grill Daniel Boone this week. I was in Rob's course last weekend. Definitely left there with more than just a full stomach.

I've done my share of low and slow cooks before, ...

Hi Folks

I've been a lurker on this site for awhile but now that I plan on taking the plunge into competitive barbecue, I thought I better get myself registered. I'm in year 3 of my 22' weber and should have an 18.5" in my possesion sometime next week (come on home depot on-line sale). I hope to do the three comp's here in SK this year and am looking forward to meeting some new people in t...

I must confess, I have never smoked before ,lol. I did use to have a very small table top smoker that I smoked seafood in about 25 years ago when I worked in London, England. But I am sure you will all say that doesn't count. I do plan to get a pellet smoker near the end of June when I get back from Paris.
I have come to this site to promote our awesome BBQ competition. So scroll down to the com...

What's smoking gent's? New guy from lower Alabama, I just came across this site by mistake looking for tip's on how to build my smoke pit. I've started one using a 250 gallon propane take just a few weeks ago, got the doors cut and on a trailer so far. Many smoke pit's use a reverse flow design so I'm looking for advice on it. I'm thinking on building a fir box straight behind my tank with 2 100lb...

Hello all!

So I've been doing bbq and small smokes for a number of years, but I am in the market for my first true smoker! I'm thinking the weber smokey mountain, I have a weber kettle and love it. Anyone have any recommendations beside that? Haha I can't afford the egg... Oh anyone in Regina know of a good place to buy wood? Or rubs? I like to make my own rub but sometimes the premade ones are...

Hello everyone, like the site and figure I can learn some new stuff . Been smoking meats for about 10 years or so. Have a run down BSKD on its last season. Ordered some materials today to make myself a new stumps clone GF.

P.S. please pray for the victims and family of the horrific event from yesterday!

Quick bit about me..

I love BBQ, so much so that I ended up starting my own BBQ related Business to support my Habit. I also shoot Display Fireworks for the big 4th of July shows. It;s my way of destressing from my real job working in radio, as a studio engineer.

I found my way here because I been researching a stumps clone build, and this site has been of tremendous help in getting me infor...
