New mods will be chosen from users on here, yes. If you've read the global announcement Brad made you already know all about that. We're working together to get some more help up in here soon

I agree- Sera's working on getting some new mods so mabye they'll be able to straighten things a bit

well sera was referring to another forum crisis we had for a bit...

and no it doesnt need to be super strict, just giving people reminders about the rules or double postage and zombies, moving things that are in the wrong places, making sure things don't become inappropriate, that kind of stuff.

i think more mods would be really helpful around here.
and to be honest, cleaning up threads a bit certainly isnt being too strict, especially when you look at other forums who get on your back for every little thing. like i said it doesnt need to be run like a regime

i just think we need a few more mods who are on a lot more.

i really respect you sera, and appreciate everything you do, but i understand having a job and doing other things takes up time.

its like we just need to add like three more people who are able to be on more and can subjectively clean things up.

Last time I tried to clean something up, everyone got on my back about trying to be too strict.

To be honest, the direction this board is going in is driving me away. But I love you people to death so I'm trying to get over it. I'll try to be around more.

I've noticed it too...it's kinda bugging me. I feel like sweeping a broom into this forum and clean it up.

I've been a mod/admin before too haha RIP LD and I know when the mods are back (because they seem not to be much on here) they will have lots of work to do, esp. with the double threads and off-topicness threads (I dunno what they will do with it)

before i start, i dont mean to offend anyone by this at all, although i dont think it will anyway.

i was just wanting to say that i've noticed that a lot of the threads on here tend to go on complete off-topic tangents sometimes, and innevitably get confusing to read, especially if you are trying to find something. anyway, i know the mods on here do a good job, but maybe a little more control over off-topicness is needed? just to keep the forum tidy.
i realise this may seem a bit cheeky, but since i'm a mod on another forum, i notice these things, and while i hate when forums are so strict with their rules that its basically some sort of regime, it can get annoying when you cant decipher what the real point of a thread is because of all the random conversation in them, if you get me? its all good to have a good time on a forum, its what they are here for after all, but i feel its important that they do have some structure and rules that are followed.
