wonder when the plans for the mixed development atop outram mrt will be announced?
since they've already acquired pearls center and the sorrounding area has a huge empty land, my guess will be a huge mall together with office buildings (something similar to jgateway)

THE 49-room Berjaya Hotel in Duxton Road has been sold for $50 million, pricing the asset at slightly over $1.02 million per room.

The asset comprises eight adjoining conservation shophouses, all three storeys high with a loft, sitting on land with a balance lease tenure of about 74 years.

The buyer is believed to be Satinder Garcha's Elevation Group. The shophouses are being sold on vacant possession. Word on the street is that Mr Garcha is expected to continue running the property as a hotel and the existing staff will be retained, although Berjaya is unlikely to continue managing the hotel.

The eight shophouses - Nos 80-87 Duxton Road - have a land area of 9,558 sq ft and gross floor area (GFA) of around 32,000 sq ft.

These are the name that come with Tanjong Pagar and Centre. Not to mentioned nearby OCBC centre, Clifford centre. All these names with centre in it belong to the last century.

What a normal design with its flat 2 D looks. The name easily confused with Tanjong Pagar Food Centre.

The residential units are called TP180. They start at a height of 180 metres and rise up to 290 metres.

Im at blk f ... directly in line with capital tower and the huge mass they had flattened for the guocoland project.

Long time didnt add pic and seems to forgotten how ... did try to d/load pics to flickr but always failed to load.

I wish u every sucess with your book but I dont think u shld wait til u r old...with your dedicated enthusiasm, resourcefulness and photography skill...I think u shld capitalize the opportunity now...maybe something entitled "whats goin up and down infront of your living window in 10 yrs time"...for any current or future development.

If u had one publish for pinnacle some years back ... im sure I will definitely get a copy!

Book is just for fun la. So far I have yet to achieve anything in great success. So maybe I could count on this book. with your help being the ang moh editor and your good theme.

Now I know what u mean by sprouting.

Yan kit is staying put for the time being as I read somewhere and it is zoned as sports/recreational in masterplan 2008. As Tanjong Pagar plaza is undergoing lift upgrading, it will stay put for another 15 years maybe.

Beyond this hinterland, there is still one hotel right between guocoland and orchid hotel.

Btw, by june, guocoland should be launching.

Thx! Although I really enjoy your resourceful posting but I often find myself scared out of my shit prompting ... oh no! Where are they sprouting this time? I think its abt time they starts building them underground...dont they know birds are dying everywhere, smashing up buildings?

It will be 280m tall. 30m Taller than the Temasek Tower. I should have 3d massing in google earth but cant find it liao.

Look like it is going to be the landmark in Tanjong pagar.
