|
|
Enclosed is information regarding the new KHE 2pc Hindenburg cranks.
They come in 2 sizes according to KHE.
165mm
175mm
According to the latest pricelist it describes the 165mm as "flatland".
I am not sure if this is because of their size or because if they have made them slightly lighter?
Whereas the 175mm cranks are described as street (as before, no idea why)
I have held a set of these in my hands when they were being prototyped,
and since then they have added a fake bolt on the welded side so that
they look more "normal" ... I am not sure if it does anything, but i
thought I would mention it.
Dont forget to have a look arround the other forum messages as we have
allot more new product release information.
Enjoy
Reference for KHE:
This information has been added to bikeguide, and www.gestapo-flat.com ....
both great sites and opinons regarding this product may be
also discussed on these sites mentioned. Basically we cut pasted
the same message onto both boards just incase we wanted to
change the item description "on the fly".... we hope that you will
share more info with us as soon as you have more to share. _________________ www.bykeforum.com

Does the non-fixed arm fit on a splined part of the spindle as per 3pc Hindenburgs?
Cheaper as you don't have to machine one arm? but no Ti spindle option?

Yes, this is correct.
as far as i know its cheaper to make this design while making it stronger and the same weight of the old cranks with a ti axle. _________________ www.bykeforum.com
