Slow Boards

Sooo... about a month ago the boards started getting really slow for me. My dad thinks its the new moving sigs, and it knida make sense because that craze started around that time.
Anyone else got the same?

Moving sigs ?
Images wouldnt slow down the loading of the forum by anything noticeable really, just if it was on a page full of images it'd take a bit longer for someone on say very slow internet speed but nowadays everyones on very high speed broadband.

If i had my way the signature rules on this forum would be a LOT tighter, although a lot of people dont even follow the current restrictions lol.

I havent noticed a change in speed though apart from the server problems earlier today

i think the speed is fine, though once in a while it takes a bit to load.
but that's just my internet acting up.. Rolling Eyes

By moving sigs, Beth means the .GIF images & animations i think.

the boards have never really been slow for me tbh. im on broadband but my internet speed is pretty much dialup all the time cos our ip is all f**k up and stuff XD they're like scamming us of our precious broadband.
but yeah, it hasnt been slow for me?

Some sigs are huge in megabytes, that might be the problem too.
Like I've seen a siggy here which was like 15mb, well THAT'S too much xD
