Just noticed this on facebook from a ground hopper and I thought I’d share with you all
"Very much enjoyed Matlock, very welcoming and friendly people, probably the friendliest I've come across at these levels, had a pint in the clubhouse which also is very impressive, the game not the greatest but Matlock were the better side, will definately be going to Matlock again." |

Late reply i know! A good result and second half performance only the odd goal was ever going to decide it.
Thouht their approach play was a little more controlled than ours, lets not get carried away about Adam Yates whilst he is a qulaity player (at the back) i thouht he was little to slow with what to do with the ball in midfield.
That is not having a go, just the way i see it, lets see how it goes if he plays in the same position over the coming weeks.....
It was good to see Nathen Joynes training in the warm up !!! |
