First half - Utterly dire, hoofed the ball forward for the full 45min and didn’t take our chances in front of goal
Second half - Mark introduced Liam Wilkin and that was a game changer as he ripped apart Burscough’s defence with his pace and movement and was a big part of all three goals.
McMahon is another one who is a different class and I will be gutted to see him return to Gainsborough.
I’m not even sure if Joynes is human, it wasn’t that far back since he had his surgery and today when he came on he looked like he had been playing week in week out. |

3 points job done. A woeful refereeing performance first half with a definite penalty simply ignored.
Dissapointing to see a number of Matlock Town fans on the Causeway Lane side of the ground actually celebrate Bursough's late consolation goal they should be ashamed of their actions and support Matlock as Matlock fans what on earth is going on!! _________________ Prediction League Champion 2006/2007 and 2010/2011 runner-up 2009/2010 and 2011/2012 although I don't like talking about it.
There was only 1 entry in the Clitheroe Evo-Stik Challenge Mini-league |

first half very even you would not know who should be bottom of the league!!
Then on comes Liam Wilkins, top performance man of the match top player, did not know wether to award MOM to LW or LM but has to be Liam totally changed the game must start next game, what a bright young talent!!!!!!
After a long lay, glad to see Joynesy get a run out.

Just wondered when Liam would get a chance to show his talents, blimey, he`s been sat on the bench week in & week out ! Turned the game for us after one of the worst first halves ever witnessed down at the Lane. Well done Liam ! Mr Pea....don`t know what you`re complaining about, we never saw any dissent on the Causeway lane side ??? _________________ PREDICTION LEAGUE WINNER 2011 - 2012

A person from Belper instigating that. What do you expect from someone who lives in that town? |

Good win today but Burscough deserved their late consolation goal. Must have been galling for anyone who had 3 - 0 in the Prediction League today though _________________ Clitheroe Evo-Stik Challenge - Matlock Town Mini-league winner 2012/2013 and 2011/2012 |
