Hi, wonder anyone can share the largest mirror or glass panel that your contractor or ID had transported it to your unit via lift.

The reason I post this question is that i made an estimation that a 7.6 ft x 5.2 ft panel could fit into the lift, diagonally, with no standing space for delivery men. Hopefully this info will benefit those that want to have the largest full height panel to be in their reno.

Cheers

This is a large panel about 100 kg? For mine, the transportation of the tempered glass came with a trolley with two steel brackets sandwitching it. The trolley looks big and mine was done few days ago. Think the glass man will consider the transportation and pre-empt the allowable size I think.

I had a single piece 9 foot by 500mm mirror panel transported with no issue. This is 2730mm, which is longer than any floor to ceiling wood panel which is just 2570mm for the bedrooms.

But I custom ordered a piece of not-so-common granite for my living room sette top, 9 foot long and 650mm depth (bedroom cabinet panel is 600mm normally and anyway as mentioned above 2570mm length), they said need to cut it up so have joint line, even though its custom chosen. !#%!@$#
My ID designed it too deep liao.

PS. As you can see, doing up the mirrors for living room/bedrooms feature walls + tempered glass panels for bathroom is really no joke and not for rookies. I tested the integrity all my mirrors/glass.
This is especially so for those panels fitted on the toilet wooden walls + tiles.

Estimating the 10mm thickness tempered glass. My original size intended for a moving glass panel was 2400mm by 3300mm. which is too tall and too wide for the lift. Have tried out several combination and after several tryings and suggestion from the glassman, it was right now 3 x 2200mm x 1100mm of which 2 of them jointed. Not so nice but bo bian.

Its my TV feature wall, runs the whole length of it. S1. I got another panel but slightly shorter at 7.5 ft.

Other than that my wardrobes have grey mirrors (you see Closet design - same stuff)...but those are not too big. These together with the granite are the biggest/longest.

Transport via lift lah.... my is above SB level, can die.

Hehe....true. They are willing lah...its only a matter of $$. $10 per floor = $300+ only how can. Coz when you are doing this, it breaks, their issue.

But my TV feature wall not ex leh, I think only $2.7k. 9 feet Grey Mirror x 2 slabs + double plywood meaning 18mm x 2, plus additional bracing requested. Coz I want the suspended console to be able to take the weight. Most only guarantee 1 pax able to sit on the console, I specced 3 pax min. So everything can take 70" screen if applicable in the future, heavy amps like tube amps, and misc stuff.

Custom marble/granite can also. Break their par sah. Well over 2k. Laughing
