On Baldwin, past CC Bolt, before you get to Sheinberg, on the RH side, a very tall prefab white concrete building, cant' call the name. Stuff was $100.00 for a 1" thick roll, 2800*, not mineral wool or rock wool, but something wool maybe. Looks like a white fiberglass pad, with no backing, looks like this:Image

Hey Congratulations. Now you can start working on the bling since you seem to have the fire all worked out.

Hopefully getting down to the short rows here. I sandblasted my pig logo into the door that belongs on the access to the oven. What do you think?

That looks great there Gene. That should stand up to a lot of weather. Dhows up real good. Also hard to remove in case of theft.

That is just awesome! I would have never thought about sandblasting a logo on.

Now finish up the smoker and the rest of the bling.

Thats what was left of the 50 quarter chickens, very moist and flavorful. Fork me, I'm done.

Looks great Jet, congrats! How long of a stem do you have on that therm mounted to the front of the smoker? Are you using the tuning plates inside? Are you going to build some sort of cover to go over the chain on the side?

Where's the $$ shot on the chicken?

The only shot i got is below your post on sandblasting the stainless, above

The stem is about 2 1/2 inches long from the end of the threads. I'm still using your design on the tuning plates. I made them slope down away from the fire, i will now make them level. I do need to make a safety guard for the chain/sprocket/motor i'd hate to take somebody's finger off.

Awesome cook. Looks great with the paint and the sandblasted logo. That doesn't look like you are at the beach though?
