Dan, You have done a very nice job. I really like the finish. So when are you doing the bisquit test? |

Thanks. I will give it a shot next weekend Jerry. I want to make sure that coating is set up well before I fire it up.

Major hurdle overcome! I got it from school to my house. I think I was more worried about this than the build itself.

Great Dan, now you had better lock it up tight so no one else decides they may like it better than you. Looks like you have some pretty nice weather there, so there is no excuse to NOT getting her fired up. |

Pic's of the day (sorry no meat, but tune in tomorrow!) Got is seasoned and here are the results:
As you can see I am a little hot on the backside, but it is nothing I do not think I can compensate for. We will see how tomorrow goes!

Last "new" build post because it work great!!!!!!!
Man these thing are cool!
Chicken Butts:
Cooked Chicken (and yes, my party guests were picking at the skin before i got the picture):
2 Chickens and 23 rainbow trout:
Me and my new toy:
The build has been awesome! But now let the learning begin. All the food off of it today was fantastic and I can not wait till I learn to use it well!
If you are thinking about your own build, get panning and start working!

Good stuff Dan. I see that darker biscuit probably came from right by the exhaust? Right? That is going to be about the hottest spot in the cooker. It is in my FEC100 as well. Good picture of you and the cooker, only problem is I think you got to put some meat on those bones of yours. Once you really get the hang of cooking on your cooker I am sure the inches will start to go on. |
