Anyone in here into any kind of Volunteer or Social work? We have had request few times about people asking for volunteers or people asking to do some volunteering work. I think, If this forum can act as a medium for such interaction, that would be great.
Please give your thoughts, ideas.
Thanks,
Admin. |

| Thanks Savio for your response. I think if we take even one or two days in year for any kind of social work, that would make lot of difference. Lets see if we can find few more volunteers. Thanks again. |

hmm...
Well social work can include any of below ... but than we need to see how much it is feasible...
> Blood donation
> Helping some NGO on free lancing basis
> Teaching some street student at NGO on one dedicated day (like sunday-once in a month or like that)
> Organizing some medical camp or training camp
etc...
Guys pour few more ideas.... _________________ !! NotHing iS imPoSSible tO a WillInG hEArt !!

Training/Teaching camp idea to underprivilege or anxious ones is a good idea. Like teaching computers, music, acting, sports, etc. Anything that can help each other.
Also we can consider donations in form of used academic materials like books, notes, guidance etc. |

Hi,
There could be many areas for volunteer work. If you can specify what is the requirement, it would be good. However, I am interested and available for the same, again depending on the type of work.
Thanks & Regards

Guys, please come up with ideas as to how we can help the soceity. I know we all are short of time and would not be consistent in schedule. We need to come up with some help that we can participate any time without worrying much about making ourself available next time.
I was thinking if we could engage some kids during vacation time about the importance of education, helping them in sports or music just so that they generate a desire to excel in in life. I personally know of two places where kids are studying in school but due to lack of guidance, they just stop thier education before they reach college. Most of them start working and others get married.
Other suggestions are welcome. |

hi admin..
Thats a good suggestion... Even teaching to underprevlidge can be taken up... like 2 hours a week in that way. _________________ !! NotHing iS imPoSSible tO a WillInG hEArt !!
