Hi Leslie Dias,
How is your brother Ashley. We were together in 84 batch. Give my regards to him.
Nice you know about your acheivements. Do you must remember my Brother Sanjay from 85 batch.
I know your Scizzors high jumping style. Do you remember my cousin Cyprian Rebello who won the first High jump in E divsion Inter school on with this style. 81 batch.
Anyway nice to know you are trying to get the youth united under Sports. Keep this good work going. There are very few people like you
who have the experience and background to make this happen.
This is what we must do to equip and prepare the next generation.
By the way, I started the augustines84 yahoo group to try to trace our batchmates of 84. So please spread this word around about our group.
Regards

Yes I remember the Pioneers of St Augustines for sure.
I must say we had a very strong Seniours who have given us an Good example of their abilities and the image they created is the reason youngesters like me were tempeted to follow their foot steps.
I would definetly give all the credit to people like Cyprian Rebello , Brother Agustines, Fredy Calaco, Preetveez Bhatachari, Henry Remedious, Leslie Gonsalves, even you Trevor. and may others I dont remember their names but I have seen them perform.
also hats off to all the Brothers , of St Augustines for their efforts in making this happen.
I forgot Ravish Naidu, Ashley Dias my Bro and Bejoy D'mello etc.
also Thanks to all who's names i could not mention because of my limited memeory. Pls help me dig all those old guys who have built this strong image of St Augustines. and a sense of unity amoung all St Augustines Students irrrespective of their age religion, cast or creed.

Hi Everybody,
I too passed out from St. Augustines High School in 1982. I know its been a long time. Any guys thaaat olddd here on this forum ? I seriously doubt. During my time Br. Christopher Murphy was the Principal. I still adhere to the values and principles that were drilled into our heads by him. It required an Irish gentleman like him to teach us Indian and World history in those days. Sounds funny eh? He was a gem.
Admin, any chance to start any forum for people from Kuwait ? Just Kidding. Good Luck guys. Keep up the good name of S.A.H.S.
Regards. |
