I thought I would go and see if Alfreton had improved much to when I saw them at Belper, and the answer was not really.

Two average sides, where chances were few and far between. Even though Worcester somehow managed to miss two sitters in the second half.

Alfreton scored on 38 minutes through Lee Featherstone's header. But I still think they have a big fight to stay in the Conference North even though last night's win pulled them out of the relegation places.

Credit to the Worcester fans who brought a pretty good following on an awful night of constant rain and swirling wind.

Glad Often are struggling, chance of a decent local derby next season if they come down!

(not meaning the likes of illson etc arent, they're just too far away for some 'proper' banter)
