Hi friends
Cfmed over here no schools for my kids.
I called Radin Mas, Gan Eng Seng, Zhangde, all got no vacancies.
Only vacancies available is Stamford Primary? Anyone has got any comments on this school. It is near Bugis.
I was told to called my twins current school around end Oct to apply for STEPS. It means the school will help your kids to find the best available schools within our zone. Check out the MOE website if u are interested. Do feedback here. |

What the hell we got so little schools nearby our house and they have no vacancies. This is no good for our next generation. |

i think we're really kinda short of primary & secondary schools within our vicinity except for 1 new primary school coming up just next to The Beacon. Will it be enough?
however....., finally....... after some time of waiting, we finally got a letter from Gan Eng Seng Pri Sch to arrange for an interview on monday.
as i'm not familiar with this type of procedure, in such a case or rather at this phase may i ask is it likely a high chance that my daughter will get enrolled into the school? She's in P2 and i'd reckon that if everything goes smoothly she'll start after the school hoildays. currently she's still studying in woodlands and the journey is so tiring everyday for her & us |

Just for your information,
I called up MOE this morning, they confirm that the new primary school will be ready for Primary 1 student in year 2011.
Only not confirm the registration location, maybe located at other place.
Name will be announce in the website end of june 2010.
Maybe we should the title of this sub forum LOL _________________ ***People only failed when they give up***

It's kinda like the MRT map that Calvin Teo drew up and predicted 5 years ago. Authorities keep denying the existence of certain MRT stations.. even ask some Condo ads to take it out.
Either this 15 year old kid is really smart at guessing, or a hacker. |

According to MOE,
The new primary school name is "Cantonment Primary School" and its registration info and venue will be out next week. The primary one registration exercise begins early Jul and end August (didn't quite remember the exact dates but sounds like 2nd or 6th Jul, you may call MOE auto info to confirm exact date.) |

Was talking about the name of the school with Auslia and Yurikaze yesterday night.. Hit the nail on the head..
The various names we thought of includes Everton Primary, Duxton Primary and Cantonment Primary.. _________________ Do not go where the path may leads, go instead where there is no path and leave a trail - Ralph Waldo |

I wonder if anyone of you parents are going to enroll your kid(s) in branded schools? If yes, there's hardly any such schools within 1 - 2 km of Pinnacle.

| Hmm there used to be a Cantonment Primary something like 25 years ago before it merged with Keppel Primary, which eventually closed down. |

Phase 2B and 2C (I don't suppose they have 2A unless the alumni from the XX years ago Keppel merged with Cantonment primary school come back).... and still under-enrolled maybe.... compared to the more popular branded school... |

MOE website says Phase 2A(1) to Phase 3 ... not sure if this answers your question. _________________ Visit my blog at cocraze.blogspot.com |
