Here is an interesting find I came across on another forum. The author said it can be re-distributed, so here is Cranky Buzzard's BBQ Workbook.
http://www.crankybuzzard.com/CrankyBuzzardBBQWorkbook.xls
As he states, there is nothing really new here, just a great compilation of information that we can all use. And some of us (aged bbq'ers) are having trouble remembering everything, so this helps.

Do you have MS Excel on your puter ? Thats all you need to open it ..
It could be on a web page but that would take allot of work , plus it dosnt belong to us . Cranky Buzzard is the guy who put the workbook together so that would be very disrespectful if we were to strip it out and stick it on a web page .. |

I tried to save as a PSD file and then open it and it didn't look too good. So as you said Barry, you cook as you want. This is more or less set up for a beginner and I don't think you are a beginner Barry. There is a lot of good info there, but I don't know how much you would use it anyway. |

If you don't want to pay for MS Office, go grab a copy of Open Office from http://www.openoffice.org/ down load it, install it and you can then open the .xls files in Calc which is the Open Office version of Excel. |

Microsoft had and probably still has a Excel Viewer that will allow you to open it, but probably not use it.
Open Office is proably your best alternative |
