Ok nishant,
Let me complete the procedure where mits left it from.
After u sign in photobucket.com
U ll see 2 buttons, browse & upload.
Click on browse, it will open ur my computer, browse ur pictures that u want to upload. highlight one at a time and click ok.
It will show that picture name in a small window before browse.
Then click upload. It will show u uploading ....... for some time and then u ll see the picture added.
It will have links, just copy paste that link in image prompt on this forum.
Like the following:
[img]yourimagelinkwillbeplacedhere[/img]
make sure u paste the link in between those image tags.
That it.
hope this helps.

Hi Admin/Moderators and all Vasai friends,
Its wonderful to see a site on Vasai. I have been a regular visitor to your site, but its just today that I have got myself registered. To say something about my self, I passed out of St. Augustines in 1982, went to St. Xaviers College until 1987 and currently serving the State of Kuwait since 1991. I perhaps may be one of the old members of your site, but as they say, it hardly matters. The general ambience and the camaraderie that is shared among fellow loggers has been wonderful. Above all the language and the decorum has been exceptional. Keep up the good work.
Warmest Regards from Kuwait |

Kuwaiti - Welcome to forums. Thanks for your appreciation. So you too from St. Augustine's!!! And I was wondering how most of you ended up in gulf. Then I realized that Gulf was(and is) really lucrative during the time you migrated. Hope you have fun here. welcome again.
P.S. I like your forum nic. |

Hi Admin/Max and everybody,
Thank you all for the warm welcome. This definitely is a place where I feel at home. I do miss Vasai a lot and thats the reason why I make it a point to visit Vasai atleast once a year. Due to my son's education(he is in class 5), I visit India only during June-August. I miss the Vasai rains, the crowded trains, the warmth of the people and above all the festivities. Like you said, the Gulf is surely a very lucrative place as far as money is concerned, but for other things its pretty much slow. I do have one of my classmates from St. Augustine's here in Kuwait and we do get together at times and get nostalgic(not over booze, Kuwait is a dry country) about the good old days. Thank you once again and I hope I too can contribute in some way to the enlightening discussions on this forum.
Wishing you all a very Happy and Prosperous Diwali.
Regards from Kuwait. |

Hi Nihit/Admin et al,
Thank you once again. I am George here. Work culture in Kuwait is pretty laid back. No shortage of resources at all. Local people here have become 'smarter' since the 1991 Gulf war (to liberate Kuwait from Iraq). Life here is quite cool, not much of activity around. My work timings are from 7:30 to 3:00 pm. At the moment we are heading for a very harsh winter (it sometimes goes down to -2 degrees). As compared to other Gulf countries, Kuwait has the worst summers and winters( I guess Max would agree with me). Socializing takes a lot of effort and we here do miss India a lot. Well thats a short synopsis of life out here.

Hi Nihit,
Sorry for the delay in answering, I was a bit indisposed over the weekend and could not attend work. Answering to your question, jobs in Kuwait are not just oil-sector oriented ones. There are jobs in other sectors as well, but the oil-sector ones are usually better paid (usually above KD 1000 i.e. 1 KD approx. 145 - 155 Rs.). Secondly there is zero taxation here, so whatever you earn is ur take-home. There are good jobs in the Construction, Banking, Real-Estate and Engineering Industry as well, but for people with good distinctive experience. Hope this answers ur question. Do keep in touch and hi to all.
Regards |
