Chuffed for Ross because, as was said above, I was concerned that the number of minutes he was getting may not have been enough to make his mark.
I could see another situation like with Holmesy when he wasn't really given a fair crack at Mansfield.
But having read the local press reports of this story it seems Phil Parkinson believes there's more to come from Ross and that he's done well so far. The fans also seem to be delighted too as they can see he's worth keeping and that his attitude is spot on.
I agree he should perhaps now have the rest of the season at a club where he'll play 90 minutes most weeks though (perhaps in the Conference Premier), seeing as his future is now secure at Valley Parade for next season. _________________ Twitter @DuffersSport |
