You need to go to photobucket and rotate those pictures so they show up properly on the forum. I am getting a sore neck looking at them. Laughing

http://i1116.photobucket.com/albums/k574/Dir-T-Birds/2011-05-16220129.jpg I had to make the hubs and spindles, original golf cart hubs were way too expensive. They do have tapered bearings, which luckily were a gimme.

http://i1116.photobucket.com/albums/k574/Dir-T-Birds/2011-05-20193141.jpg Here is the method of steering this thing. It took me quite some time to come up with this, just sat there staring at it for several hours. Things always look simple after there built. I need to trim the bolt in the stem still, and the rod connecting everything might be a little light for its purpose, works great but a little bit of flex. I put a right and left hand thread (hiem?) joint on the ends so I can easily do alignments.....lol. The same bearings that are in the hubs are in the stem as well.
