Wondering if anyone has experience of replacing the hot rod

i'm blowing fuses and when i troubleshoot it the fuses blows with the hot rod

I had a new hot rod put in 2 weeks ago because the old one burned through to the wires. Pretty painless process, some slight disassembly at the fire box to remove the old and replace the new.

One tip - snip the old hot rod off at the base and tape the new plug to the old wires so you can pull the new one through when you pull out the old wire from the control end.

Yeh found a youtube video showing what to do and they recommanded the same to connect new one to old one to pull through

Got the rod fitted.

Would have been quicker if i had decent vice grips. I had to hammer and really pull the old rod out of they're

Anyway's it's done now.
