North Battleford BBQ Showdown

Everyone's invited! The North Battleford BBQ Showdown is perfect for all levels of competitors. Last year was the first year for this event and with a small number of competitors is perfect for beginners as well as more seasoned cooks. The "Showdown" takes place August 11 and 12 this year and if you're interested in receiving more information or a registration form for competition, give me (Shirley) a call at 306-445-8033 or email me at smaze@wdm.ca.

This was a great first year event last year, well organized and excellent hospitality. The general public have never seen anything like this so they were really interested, I love crowds like that. I'm afraid I have a commitment in B.C. on the same weekend so I can't attend but I encourage everyone to give it a shot.

With a lower team turnout than many events, and good prize money - there is a great opportunity for new teams to win enough prize money to cover their costs. It's the perfect low pressure, good time environment!

Shirley did a great job. Awesome set up for a competition. Loved see the old farm equipment in action and the other museum sights.

Glad you guys had a good time, huge congrats to Saucy Dawgs for the 2nd GC in a row, and Todd (AlbertaBones) for the reserve.
It's a great event, I hope I can make it next year.
