Firstly, no blocks here can see the NDP parade. P@D is just too far away to view the parade at the Marina Floating Platform. And when the new stadium is completed in 2015, future parade will be held at the stadium instead. Only for every 4th year, the parade will move back to the Padang.

Nice night view? Just take a stroll on the 50th Skybridge at about 6.45pm to 7pm to see for yourself..

It really depends on your finances. Nobody is in a good position to advise you other than yourself or close ones.

Good luck on your application and selection.

Depends on what is available for your choice and as long as you can afford it, cos you won't lose anything in the long run.

Let us know whether you're the lucky few or not selected to buy Pinnacle@Duxton.

Maintenance fees, etc. is the same levied on any other flats. No special fees here...

Actually I believe our conservancy fee is slightly higher than outside, $100 for an S2 unit, not sure for S1.

I can imagine the excitment all those who get to select a flat here cos all of us here also went thru it many moons ago. Lol.

While i generally agree wit the other comments here, my view is also t o be cautiously optimistic. Seems like if ur a 1st timer applying, most likely yr loan will be 400k & above unless u have financial support from other areas. It implies that u def. Need a dual income family & have a backup plan if 1 person becomes temporary unemployed. I have seen 4 or 5 peers lose their job during the last financial crisis and we were only abt 30 at that time. Not 45 or 55. So do yr planning & choose a unit that ur comfortable with.

Come down 1 day and stay the day! See where the sun hits in the morn, noon n evening. Explore the grounds and the skybridge to get yr vantage pt. 1st batch of owners dun have the opportunity n had to do some calculated guesswork so now its easier since everythg is built already. Best of luck! Smile

Stay whole day for public??

Public entrance to the 50th SB opens from 10am to 10pm. Not possible to catch a glimsp of sunrise for public. No toilet facilities on SB sure will need to exit in order to relieve nature calls. Public don't have the luxury of our access card to facilitate unlimited entries and exits.

No lah lol ... go to skybridge only when u want to. Other times can go up the blocks and recee the area to see where the sun hits. can go for coffee, lunch and dinner in the area. So many things to do in the city. If serious about buying a flat, even when u purchase resale, u wld also check it out at different times of the day no?

Pinnacle's facade is a bit complicated plus all the unit have different orientation.. Guess some groundwork is indeed necessary.

3. 50th skybridge view (although hardly go up)
4. Near to 3 MRT stations: TP, Outram EW line and Outram NEL.
5. I have very kind neighbour same floor with me.
6. Have best forum Smile
