Some of you know that I've got a bathtub. Long last time there was a neighbour's mother who just came in and "visited" my unit, and mentioned that its not good coz need to scrub always + drainage sure clogged with hair in no time (which is true). Scrub is sure thing - I mean if anybody has found a definite solution to skip scrubbing the tiles, wash basins in the toilet, glass shower screens as well, pls call me. Laughing Laughing

Anyway true enough, after 6 months the drainage of the tub clogged. Quite a bit of hair. With a regular shower screen plastic trap, the hairs would be visibly trapped hence you just remove it. With the tub, the hair are all trapped "inside", but before the built-in drain hole area.

Pls don't call a plumber to clear, nor use those black plastic sucker to sponge out and push in....not much use for hair.

Use this....

http://www.mrmuscleonline.co.uk/drain/sink_drain.html

This works even with a very near complete clog with standing water. The gel sinks to the bottom and acts at the hair, grime, sleaze whatever..... After that just whack 1 litre of 80 deg C water, and there you go.....
Its magical, you pour in the hot water and it fills up quick, suddenly the whole thing just clears and everything empties like nobody's business.
Job done.

Do this often to remove grime, hair and small residues in the pipes. More than one brand in the market.

The pipes are pretty resistant to corrosion.

Sodium hydroxide, sodium sulfate and some stuff.... look alkaline.
The bottle itself is plastic, so PVC piping absolutely no issue.

The local version of the Mr Muscle should look like this...

Other alternatives:

LIQUID PLUMBER FOAM

Or KIWI Kleen solution.

For cleaning of bathroom Mr Muscle, Kiwi Kleen or MagiClean offering are all ok Smile
