i think that the whole future universe death thing has nothing to do with the story, in the story it says the end is coming soon, which is nothing close to the universe thing

Yesterday, at the Halloween show, I mentioned something that I could have sworn Matthew would have read [a philosophy book called Lila] and though he hadn't read the book, he told me to go watch this, immediately: Zeitgeist, The Addendum.

He also kind of spilled that Pandora MIGHT be Adalia's split personality! That was an accident on his part, because I asked a moderately insightful question and he said something he shouldn't have.

He told us he would give us one direct answer to a yes or no question. I asked if while Adalia was leaving Madina Lake, was the man she ran into Mr. Bigsby. The answer was a reluctant yes.

Oh, hey, wait. I don't know if anyone else caught this, but in The Cave, the ghost says "You're are accustomed to operating only using 7% of the physical domain we are in." They ARE in Jonathan's mind. The average human only uses anywhere from like 6-10% of their brain, and the most quoted figure is 7%.

Oh, and guys - Matthew admitted he lurks this thread. Let us pray that he doesn't decide to lurk any others.

-I want to say this relates to anti-depressants and the like... Because they're like, the drugs that are "okay" and accepted, and given to you by society to "fix" the way your brain works.

i disagree with you guys, if you look the explosion is connected to the mushroom cloud, mushroom clouds are from explosions, not spontaneous combustion, or self combustion

oh and whenyourheartgivesin where were you at the concert? cuz i thought i saw some RP like people in the front row where i was, although i couldn't find anyone

Ok so I decided to print out loads of the clues, The Cave story, and the 25th July story that is about Adalia, and work some stuff out cos I figure, really, we’re going round in circles on this forum at the moment! And tbh I tried a method my English teacher does with us, which is to literally read every single line of the books we’re doing and write notes on every single line. In detail. So I kinda did that. But less intense.





So anyway! First The Cave story

In the cave they are in Jonathan’s mind, as someone said before me. It’s obviously a really warped and twisted brain because there are some really dark connotations, “its tenants were every bit as horrifying. They were the same unseeable energies that fill my world with anxiety and unpredictability without uttering so much as a single whisper” – these are the emotions/feelings/instincts etc of Jonathan’s mind that govern him. Um.
In the cave it also links to House of Cards, Jonathan says “the lantern gave me an ace but the rest of my cards surely wouldn’t hold” which makes me think he’s maybe the narrator of House of Cards.

The last thing he smells/senses before he descends into his mind is Adalia, obviously there is a really important link between them. First I thought it might be like his conscience for making adalia disappear but later on I changed my mind, I’ll tell you why in a sec.

“Suddenly I was nowhere. I just was”. Clearly this is his consciousness or his soul, he’s in his mind entirely detached from his body like how you are when you’re sleeping or something. When he talks to the ghost – which I think is another essence of his subconscious – he is told “your world, your people, your existence is on the brink of collapse until and unless you can find a path to unlock the other chambers”, so, the whole of society is doomed unless we can find a way to access our minds and learn what the other 93% is occupied with.

The ghosts are his subconscious, thoughts, knowledge, forces (good/bad etc) in my opinion, could be wrong.

So he sees the ball. This is his utopia, his Eden. “never mind the silly fables various religions propagate, this here was heaven”. I said waaaaay before this that attic can be translated as ‘head’ so attics to eden really means the eden of your mind, peace, utopia, the peace in your consciousness, your soul etc. He follows on to say if you could physically get everyone to feel and see their own utopia/eden then their ego would vanish.

The Nicaulus mentioned is Capurnicus.

“Through chemicals we will manipulate your journey here” – antidepressants as said before, drugs of any kind, etc.



Now the June 25th story, idk what it’s actually called though lol.
It’s clearly from Adalia’s point of view as it says she escaped her own funeral only hours ago. We see what I think is some of Adalia’s memories; “she can’t be more than 6 years old and she’s alone, shivering in the middle of the forest”. This could link to her past, where she says she used to go to the forest alone when things at home got too turbulent for her. She asks at one point why she can’t access this little girl and why she seems like she’s in a different dimension: in a book my English teacher was quoting, “the past is another country” but also a different dimension: you can’t access your own past.

Again linking to this is “you followed the river, just as you have a dozen times before” and “you wonder how everybody could just abandon you like this. Not that this is the first time you’ve fallen victim to this travesty” which shows she’s taken this route before etc. She’s searching for the cave, which could be a metaphor again for her mind.

Obviously the locket is important but right now I don’t know why...
“Nature prepares you for what the intelligent universe has planned for you” “all your most sinister fears, exploding to life like volcanic lava detonating after thousands of years”. Not only does the last quote really really really really link to the scorched earth tshirt photo and what I said before about the earth imploding, but it also literally explains the next bit: “I am in the presence of pure evil” and the shadowy guy with the fangs. Someone said before me this is Mr Bigsby and I agree – but Mr Bigsby, as we’ve been thinking, isn’t a literal being.

If she’s in the presence of pure evil, and all her most sinister fears that have exploded to life, then surely this is Mr Bigsby. Before when she says about going to the forest alone when things got bad at home she says about how she’d create imaginary friends who’d comfort her, until one day a shadowy figure appeared – and in Jonathan’s cave/mind the ghosts represent feelings/emotions/motives. So if the man Adalia runs into is Mr Bigsby, and Mr Bigsby is pure evil, then it makes perfect sense he is the leader of the criminals – he is the dark voice in their heads, the prominent force governing their minds into doing wrong.

Mr Bigsby isn’t real – he’s the personification of evil, the ‘ghost’ that represents this.

The letter: “Adalia, watch out for the criminals. Ps, your father is looking for you”. Well, in the cave Jonathan is told to “find the creator, now” and he talks about Adalia saying “our affiliation was non existant yesterday, and today our connection is of critical importance”. Could he be her father? Just a thought. And could the letter be the one that TFB gave to Adalia?


Ok so Adalia clearly goes back to the clearing she’s been to before when she was a little girl, and someone said before that the greek have a myth that when a blue star descends to earth a new god would come down and dance with them. On the back of the ATE cover it shows Adalia/someone descending to earth to meet dancing people, and the words say “she descends to the waiting apparitions dancing in the moonlight to welcome her home”. This can link to the goddess thing, cos it also links to the descent of sofia, the title of the cover picture. The apparitions welcoming her back are the ones from her mind, greeting her as a god: she has the knowledge to acknowledge and as such she has control over them: she is a god.



Lila the divine game: someone posted a link and on that website it says “an innocent heart hears the inner voice which constantly leads us through the life pattern. To facilitate the eternal lila we only need to culture love of selfless ind and provide space for others to flower”. In Adalia’s story she says “I was chosen because of my selflessness, I never suffered the disease of self importance” which links to her seeing the ghosts/apparitions as she is one of the only people who can really listen to her inner voice and understand the divine game. This could also be a reason why Jonathan is looking for her as the ‘creator’ as she is one of few who has this gift.
Ok and finally, in the old story of Adalia’s “source amnesia” she says that the last thing she remembers is “of a shadowy apparition emerging from the woods into the clearing where she sat on her blanket in a clearing deep in the woods”. Could this be the first sighting of Mr Bigsby? It would explain any theories of her having alter-egos, as she could have allowed Mr Bigsby to overcome her for a while – when she vanished when she was younger (or am I imagining that happened). This alter-ego could be Darlena... and a third alter-ego could emerge in the third album, because as one person said the Greeks thought the fates to be three women.

its very good, i wish i had the time to read it all
1. Mr. Bigsby is the evil guy Adalia runs into at the clearing when the cave is closed off
2. in one of songs it talks about ring of fire. In the North Pacific there is a huge ring of underwater volcanoes, i.e. it is called the ring of fire. (just linked this now) Hawaii is in the ring of fire, not sure if it has to do with much but Hawaii is a paradise and has palm trees >.<
