I caught an episode of the TV show Primal Grill with Steven Raichlen on PBS yesterday. I have to say that the Caveman T-bone steaks which were cooked by putting the meat right on the coals were the most unappetizing steaks I've ever seen. They were burned almost totally black on the outside. A bit too primal for my taste. Shocked

I have a hard time watching that Steve Raichlen dude .. More annoying than informative to me for some reason ..

That was the wife's reaction too. I don't disagree either, there's definitely something about his style and delivery that is off-putting to say the least.

I did enjoy his first couple of books though.

ya he takes some of the nicest steaks you ever seen and throws them in the fire!! burnt on outside raw on inside!! what a waste!!! i have his dvd set he does make some good looking bbq!but caveman t-bone not good in my books!
