Hey,
As I'm sure most of you know, Chi Cheng of Deftones has been in a coma/minimally conscious since Nov 2008 when he was in a car crash. There was news recently that he was coming out of a coma - although he is still minimally conscious - but once in a while he can move his leg and things like that.
Anywayyyyy, I think all Madina Lake fans (maybe even Madina Lake too, if they happen to see this) need to join in the positive thinking for Chi. We did it for Matthew and he got better... we need to do it for Chi. I know it's been three years, but I think 2012 is the year Chi will recover - and we all need to start here and help! I know Madina Lake fans are the best fans out there - we can all use our power of positive thinking.
Someone posted on the Awareness For Chi facebook page that people should make videos for Chi. Anyone want to do one? What I'd really love would be for Madina Lake to do a video for Chi - I am sure Matthew could transport his positivity over to Chi! But I think fans should also make vids... or send notes to Chi too. (I can't make videos, I'm lame at videos, and hate my voice and face, ha... so I sent a note... but you should make videos! And notes!)

I think this is a brilliant idea. My boyfriend loves Deftones and I'm sure he'd be well up for doing a video for Chi. I'll be sending some positive thoughts his way! Is there somewhere specific to send videos or do we post them in the same place as the notes?

I'm not really sure of the place to send videos (sorry for the slow reply!) - although there's a facebook page for Chi which is updated a lot - it's good to 'LIKE' that page and then you can ask on there and keep more up to date with news.
