Hi I just installed a 18k air con for my living room and realised its not enough cooling power.
did anyone install a door for the corridor? i think corridor takes quite a lot of space.
I would like to see some examples on the overall look on what it looks like.
Hope i can get some help here.
Thanks in advance. |

| Have you completed your reno and moved in? I installed 18k too... initially it felt that it was not cool enough, but after you move in all your furniture, it is quite alright. Furthermore, my kitchen is open concept |

i can't access the reno blogs cos i can't remember my booking date so can't get access from admin.
Hi plucky, oh really? 18k enough? but anyway i installed it somewhere over the kitchen entrance so the draft of the air-con doesn't blow across the entire living room.
i think that's why not cold. bo pian. think unless i get a door for the corridor (which i am kinda reluctant to do so), 18k is insufficient for me. kinda regret never get the 22k one. but guess no use crying over spilled milk. |

| maybe you can try enquiring your booking date from HDB, if i'm not wrong we did some payment on that day and they should have a payment record. |

i did a door for the kitchen, that place eats more of the aircon cooling power than the corridors actually.
you have a fridge and other appliances (which generate heat), plus air leak from the window/yard doors.
if you want to do a door for corridor you might consider kitchen one instead. |

Is the booking date the same as the date of application? If so, you can find it in myHDBPage. You should be able to see your flat details there. |

ya i was thinking of that too. Kitchen door also more practical cos if i on air-con cannot cook at same time if i dun have a a kitchen door.
will try kitchen door first then. thanks everyone who replied here! |
