This was the first theme i came across during my 1st visit to the skybridge and immediately felt at peace sitting down enjoying the breeze and the majestic view on either end of the table. Told wifey, this is a perfect spot to wheel my dad up for a chat since it is directly above us and also have plan for board games, reading, drawing and such with daughties.
but then for whatever reasons unknown, they were gone ...
Used to enquire the security guards everytime i visited as if looking for my long lost lovers and was told that they will be replaced with a more sturdier design as the dismantled pieces' leggy were a little weak in design. Great so the wait continues ...
Also seems to read from someone's post citing some VIPs mentioned that it encourages people to bring up food and drinks for picnic. Must be some Big Shot since they were wrapped up immediately the very next day; such efficiency!
Haizzzz ... What ignorant negative remarks can that be ... man what fool will be so stupid to eat and drink in the open so near to the security post???
To date, it is still as flat as my ass and as lonely as what's hidden in between!
Just can't help feeling being short change! |

Heard it was Koo Tsai Kee who said it,
Anyway he will be replaced in the next GE as he has intention to retire.
The tables and chairs are not that perfect as you can see from the picture of that famous bent chair leg
I did see the tables at 3rd storey in some corners at 1C I think, which I believe they wanted to fit in there but since disappeared. (or I couldn't be bothered to walk at 3rd storey.) |

happybunnylove,
Thx for the info but i guess that is how it works ...
When Authority speaks ... REACTs but when minor complains ... act blurr!
Do not think they will replace them eventually although i still misses "them" pretty much and it was so silly to dispose such a great gathering corner just because of one man's thought or a buckle leg (3 legged design flaw). |
