I must confess, I have never smoked before ,lol. I did use to have a very small table top smoker that I smoked seafood in about 25 years ago when I worked in London, England. But I am sure you will all say that doesn't count. I do plan to get a pellet smoker near the end of June when I get back from Paris.

What's smoking gent's? New guy from lower Alabama, I just came across this site by mistake looking for tip's on how to build my smoke pit. I've started one using a 250 gallon propane take just a few weeks ago, got the doors cut and on a trailer so far. Many smoke pit's use a reverse flow design so I'm looking for advice on it. I'm thinking on building a fir box straight behind my tank with 2 100lb...

Hello all!
So I've been doing bbq and small smokes for a number of years, but I am in the market for my first true smoker! I'm thinking the weber smokey mountain, I have a weber kettle and love it. Anyone have any recommendations beside that? Haha I can't afford the egg... Oh anyone in Regina know of a good place to buy wood? Or rubs? I like to make my own rub but sometimes the premade ones are...

Hello everyone, like the site and figure I can learn some new stuff . Been smoking meats for about 10 years or so. Have a run down BSKD on its last season. Ordered some materials today to make myself a new stumps clone GF.

Hi everyone,
Name's EC, been smoking for about 4 years ow, love it. I have cheap Brinkmann vertical water smoker but I'm looking to upgrade, maybe event try my hand at either a gf clone or vertical clone. Not sure which one would be best.(insert comment here). Just wondering if there were any builders in he Ottawa region.
