Its water everywhere ! And birds like this storks, egrets and this kingfisher have a plenty to feed. These pictures were taken on 30th July.

The Indian giant squirrel, or Malabar giant squirrel, (Ratufa indica) is a large tree squirrel species genus Ratufa native to India. It is a large-bodied diurnal, arboreal, and herbivorous squirrel found in South Asia.[3]

Shot this on our visit to Bhimashankar last december. Its also called Shekharu in Marathi. Its a flying squerrel and can jump from one tree to another. This photo was taken with a normal lens on my camera as there was no time to change the lens.
