| You know what would make the DS shine? I do. It would be to make a super smash bros for the DS. You know how awesome that would be. Having chacters from the previous two like Link, Samus, Yoshi, and more. Bringing back some of the old levels would pretty cool to. |

definitely. i totally agree. i think it would be great, but would the screen be a bit small for maps like hyrule temple when the camera is far away? also, no z button. looking on the bright side, there would be no c-stick, _________________ I'm a Revolushunari! Are You?

| I think it's actually better that they didn't make SSB for DS, because a game of that caliber would be hard to make on the DS. Anyway, I use the Z button is good for throwing items, but for grabbing, I prefer R+A. You roll or block, then just press A and they're hopeless. As for the C-stick, I don't think it's noobish. Using it for every single smash attack is, but using it for quick smashes is what it's there for. People program games for a reason. Anyway, I tried using it once but for some reason it wouldn't work. It was a camera control instead of quick smashes. Any solutions? |

Being a master of C-stick operations, (eh link?) You were probably in one-p mode. Or training. If it's not versus, it usually turns into a camera control.
As for the touch screen, it could be used as a z-button, a quick thumb press on the left or right. _________________

Well, I think most people only use one of the shoulder button to shield. I only use L. So the other one could become Z, and you could say which one in the options. Also, Y and X are good candidates because I don't really know anyone that uses them. The only time I use them is for like a long jump to the side at the beginning of the battle. So Nintendo could definitely figure something out.
As for the touch screen, that'd be kinda tricky. Maybe It could have the stats, like lives left for each player, time left, Who's winning, damage dealt, damage received, all of those fun things.
If Nintendo were to make this game, they should release it close to SSBB. That way people don't view it as the next SSB, but a portable alternative. |
